Ahad Raza Mir is going places and how. He is one Pakistani actor who is silently, slowly, and surely making waves not just in the local entertainment industry but making global headlines as well. His body of work that spans Pakistan, Canada, and now Hollywood speaks volumes about the hard work and soul he puts into each character and plays it flawlessly. As for the Pakistani audience, he has already played amazing roles in drama serials and has earned considerable acclaim for his performances in “Parwaaz Hay Junoon”, “Aangan” and “Ehd-e-Wafa” and “Yeh Dil Mera”.
Ahad Is the First South Asian Who Has Been part of Hamlet In Canada
Resident Evil is not the first International appearance for Ehd-E-Wafa actors. He first started working in small roles in Canada and when he started doing well in Pakistani Dramas, he was offered the role of Hamlet. The idea of doing a 1200-pager Hamlet on the stage terrified him in the beginning but the role was challenging enough not to let go. Not only did he get to play the part that happened in 2019, but the Asian Canadian actor also won Canada’s Betty Mitchell Award for outstanding performance by an actor.
He is looking forward to producing another stage version of “Hamlet,” this time in a 1200-seater theater in Toronto, later this year. According to the actor, the role that was offered to me later paved way for many South Asian actors residing in Canada.
