2020 turned out to be a rather turbulent year. While everyone entered the new decade with high expectations, the Covid-19 pandemic took the world by storm, leading to all our lives coming to a standstill in a jiffy. Every year, people around the globe make New Year resolutions, ranging from what they want to change about themselves to where they want to travel to their career aspirations. However, this time around, no one wants to have high hopes from 2021 and then be left disappointed. But Twitter is already filled with handful of positive reactions too. Here is how people are reacting days before the beginning of a new year:

a friendly reminder that if you play fine line by harry styles at exactly 11:55:23 on new year’s eve, he’ll be singing “we’ll be alright” when 2021 starts. i think we all need a good start after the past year.

My new year's resolution is to "burn three bridges". The fist went up in flames this week, and it isn't even 2021.
On schedule, under budget, and total.

Many of us avoided travel or gatherings during Thanksgiving and don't want to spend another holiday apart from loved ones. But if we hang in there and celebrate safely once again, we can look forward to brighter days in 2021.
