As lockdown was imposed in almost all parts of the world, plans, vacations and weddings were all put on hold. We have all been confined to our homes, social distancing, working from home and staying as safe as possible. A particular royal wedding too was put on hold, that of Princess Beatrice and Edoarado Mapelli Mozzi.
The royal wedding was all set to take place in May and preparations for the big day were underway. The spread of the coronavirus pandemic however, forced all plans to be put on hold however and the wedding was unable to go ahead. Earlier this week however, pictures surfaced across social media of the secret wedding of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The couple tied the knot at the royal chapel of St James’ Palace with only immediate family in attendance.
Pictures showed Princess Beatrice in a stunning encrusted vintage wedding dress borrowed from her grandmother, together with a diamond tiara which was given to queen Queen Elizabeth by her mother on her 18th birthday. The happy couple was pictured in front of a stunning flower archway and social media was flooded with their pictures. And now, her sister, Princess Eugiene, is a proud little sister.

Following the wedding, Princess Eugiene took to her Instagram account and shared a lovely message for her sister. “Couldn’t Bea happier (get it) ?. . . What a complete joy and privilege to watch you, my beautiful big sister, walk down the aisle to dear Edo. I am so proud of you and I’m so excited to support you in the next chapter of your life. We are going to have so much fun together. Happy wedding day to you both xxxx,” she captioned the post which featured a series of pictures from the big day.
