Three times Kate Middleton rocked a polka dotted dress

Kate Middleton being one of our favourite members of the royal family, is also the best dressed one. The duchess has truly carved out a unique sense of style for herself which is an amalgamation of timeless and chic. No matter the event, Kate Middleton always manages to make a sartorial statement and leaves heads turning each time. She is known for sporting some of the most sophisticated silhouettes and the duchess is never afraid to repeat a look.

On a number of occasions, Kate Middleton has channelled her late mother in law, Princess Diana and regularly makes it to the best dressed lists. She is the epitome of classy and whether she opts for a subdued colour palette or a bold hue, she always manages to up the style quotient. Kate Middletone recently stepped out to meet with the families who are involved with the creation of Tiny Happy People, a new platform established by BBC Education that provides resources and support to parents and carers of children aged 0-4.

The meeting was filmed for a new segment on BBC Breakfast and of course, the duchess made a style statement. Clad in a polka dotted dress, we realised that Kate Middleton is quite the fan of the polka dot print. And so, we skimmed through the archives and came across some of the other times Kate Middleton rocked the polka dot print. Here they are:

Monochrome polka dots

For her most recent appearance, Kate Middleton stepped out in a lovely polka dot-adorned summer dress by British designer, and one of the Duchess’s favourites, Emilia Wickstead. The duchess has often opted for her designs. The full sleeved dress featured the classic silhouette that is Kate Middleton’s go-to style. The dress was below the duchess’s knee and accentuated at the waist. For the look, Kate Middleton opted to accessorise with delicate jewellery and teamed the dress with a pair of comfortable, earthy-hued wedges. She has been spotted in these wedges previously and this is proof that she’s not afraid to repeat the items in her wardrobe.

Keeping things fresh, Kate Middleton was also spotted with a post-quarantine haircut which worked perfectly well with her look. As per her usual go-to makeup look, she opted for a subtle smokey eye and a peachy-nude lip colour that we have always loved! Kate Middleton certainly isn’t suffering from any quarantine blues.

Taking our blues away

Back in May, Kate Middleton made an appearance at Bletchley Park and left heads turning with the slit in her dress. The duchess arrived, with her million dollar smile and glowing skin. For the appearance, Kate Middleton was clad in a midi, full-sleeved dress which featured buttons all the way from top down. The royal blue dress featured mini polka dots and antique gold buttons as well as a pristine white collar which added a touch of sophistication to the dress. The sleeves also featured white cuffs.

The front slit in the dress gave the dress an edge and we love that the duchess dared to bare. To round off the look, Kate MIddleton teamed the dress with a pair of contrasting, powder blue suede pumps and a matching navy blue clutch. To accessorise further, she opted for dangling pearl earrings and her go-to natural makeup look. And of course, no Kate Middleton look is complete without her bouncy blowout!

Dare to bare

Also in May, the royal family released a video to mark International Nurses Day. Members of the family including Her Majesty, Charles, Camilla, Anne, William, Catherine and Sophie called nurses from all over the Common Wealth to recognize their work. The video which was making rounds on social media showed Kate Middleton in yet another polka dotted dress and we especially love this one! For the video, the duchess was clad in a powder blue Altuzarra dress which was adorned with blue and white polka dots.

We especially loved this dress because of the cheeky side leg slit that is featured on the dress. You’d think it was a little daring for a duchess to pull it off, but you’d be surprised at how well she carried it off, and can we just add, looked amazing! The dress was coupled with her go-to nude heels which we have seen her wear repeatedly. The v-neck dress was also teamed with a matching nude clutch and dainty earrings. As always, Kate Middleton sported a luscious lock of her and rounded off the day with subtle makeup and nude lips!
